Baby and Toddlers swimming

Introduce your little one to the water

Our baby and toddler swimming lessons are designed for children aged 6 months to 3 years. During these lessons, parents and guardians join their little ones in the water, ensuring a supportive and interactive experience. We create a nurturing environment where learning occurs through play. By observing and responding to the cues from our young swimmers, we introduce new activities when they are ready. The water is kept warm to maintain a happy and relaxed atmosphere for everyone.

Pre-School Children Swimming

Build Confidence for Pre-School Swimmers

Our pre-school swimming lessons are designed for children aged 3 to 4 years and is focused on fostering independence in children. In these classes, parents or guardians do not enter the water. Instead, children are accompanied by a teacher and an assistant in the pool while parents or guardians watch from poolside. This helps children build confidence and independence while ensuring they are in a safe, supportive and fun aquatic learning environment. Our class sizes are small, ensuring an individualised approach for each child.

Testimonials

Shannon has taught my youngest son to swim for the last year and has been instrumental in his progress. When he first started he wouldn’t even get in the pool. He has grown in confidence massively and looks forward to his weekly lesson very much. Shannon is patient, kind and encouraging and has kept my son engaged and motivated to continue to learn. The lesson structure is very good and there is time for practice and play. The routine is great for pushing them a little bit further each week and ensuring they see swimming as safe and fun. I would HIGHLY recommend Shannon to anyone looking to start lessons from any age.

My sons, started swimming with Shannon at the ages of 6 and 4 years old, with limited swimming experience. Shannon built their confidence in the water with her firm but gentle, teaching style which is not only professional but also tailored to each child's individual needs. Shannon is experienced at creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. Shannon has been particularly patient, caring and creative with my eldest son who has ADHD. She has the skill to give a child individual attention whilst being aware of all the other children at the same time, which is no mean feat! We're grateful that our kids have had such a fantastic start to their swimming journey.

Shannon was my SEN son’s one to one swimming teacher for two years 2021 - 2023. It’s thanks to her amazing teaching that my son learnt to swim and is confident and safe in the water. My son has complex learning disabilities including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). He can’t cope being taught in a group of children or class and needs one to one support and supervision to keep him focused. Read More
